About Us
Ubuntu4All was formed in 2014 in the suburb of Hout Bay, with the intention of providing services to children, youth and families of the communities of Hangberg and Imizamo Yethu. The startup focus was to provide numeracy, literacy and counselling support to the families that we came into contact with. From these basic support services, we grew into an organization that provides up to 8 support programs with primary school kids, high school children and young people in our programs. Our moto is simple:

Based in the informal settlement of Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay, Cape Town, we facilitate social, remedial and community-based projects in the schools and surroundings in conjunction with the family and other role players. Our team is directly involved in the schools and community on a daily basis with intervention programs, as well as with all other forms of social economic assistance.
Ubuntu4All’s strength is to deal with the child, and young person’s challenges as it occurs. We don't just fit a child or a person into a program but rather aim to fit the right program or intervention around the child, or person, and his or her needs. We use a holistic approach, where the individual and family are encouraged to use whatever resources are at their disposal to navigate together, as we guide them to explore different options that might be available to them to get to lasting and working solutions that might fit them. Ubuntu4All also believes in the principle of teamwork and family.
